IT RDM Biological Sample Production and Management is a global IT team that is responsible to develop, support and manage IT solutions for biological research and development for human and animal health globally. This team collaborates with research scientists, IT experts, and external vendors to improve and enhance business processes and efficiency of R&D activities.
- As a member of the global IT team, the candidate will provide expert IT consultancy and operational support to research scientists globally
- Act as key business consultant for IT solutions and digital initiatives including assisting systems, processes and digital/AI technologies
- Play a key role in global IT product team(s), and analyze, plan, design and build IT solutions to address needs in biological research and development
- Develop and maintain productive and constructive rapport with key business contacts
- Actively collaborate with IT service teams, research units, and external vendors for stable support and maintenance of our IT system landscape.
- Bachelor in Computer Science/Information technology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineer or related areas, and an advanced degree in those areas is a plus
- 3+ years of experience IT support in R&D processes, especially hand-on experience for IT systems or devices in pharmaceutical research environment
- 2+ years working experience with at least one programming languages such as Python, Java .NET and PLSQL, relational database such as PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server, Oracle, and operation systems such as Linux and Windows
- 2+ years of experience with IT project management, any certificate in project management, CPI, or scrum is a plus
- Work effectively and independently or as a team member, act proactively with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility, and have strong communication skills in English with a passion for working in a virtual, international, multicultural and diversity environment.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 71.300 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
