Our Group Trading department supports Erste Group's Treasury Markets, Equity Trading, and Fixed Income businesses. Working directly alongside our trading teams at Erste Campus, we provide end-to-end IT services covering application management, business analysis, implementation, integration, and operational support for business-critical trading platforms.

What to do:

Manage and support business-critical trading applications throughout their lifecycle

Ensure stable operations, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement
-
Partner with traders and business stakeholders to optimize processes and user experience
-
Coordinate changes, releases, upgrades, and vendor activities
-
Drive automation, operational excellence, and platform resilience
-
Contribute to our growing data and AI capabilities by working with modern technologies such as Databricks and cloud-based data platforms

Collaborate with business experts, architects, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions
You check these boxes:
-
5+ years of experience in IT, ideally in Application Management, Production Support, or Financial Services

Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments
-
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
-
Knowledge of application lifecycle management and IT service processes
-
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
-
Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions

Familiarity with trading, capital markets, securities, or banking applications is a plus
-
Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI

Team-oriented and willing to meet our team every week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Erste Campus

Willingness to work based on functional staffing time during trading hours and to perform specific maintenance tasks on weekends (based upon alignment)

Excellent English skills; German is an advantage

A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 62.664,- - gross per year. But this is just a formality, we are more than happy to discuss your actual expectations.
