About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader to play a significant role in shaping the restaurant’s performance, reputation and guest experience. Reporting into the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring every service reflects the exceptional standards associated with both Sheraton Grand and Marriott International.
Beyond operational leadership, you will take an entrepreneurial approach to the business, identifying commercial opportunities, understanding local market dynamics and working closely with culinary and hotel leadership to position the restaurant as a destination for both hotel guests and the local community. You will inspire a high-performing team culture while delivering outstanding financial and guest satisfaction results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day restaurant operation, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence at every guest touchpoint]
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective cost control, inventory management, purchasing practices and revenue optimisation strategies
- Partner with culinary leadership and hotel stakeholders to strengthen the restaurant’s market presence and commercial positioning
- Oversee restaurant marketing initiatives, local networking activities, guest events and social media engagement to enhance visibility and drive demand
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, brand compliance and beverage control in line with Marriott requirements and local regulations
- Lead, develop and inspire a talented team through coaching, training, performance management and succession planning
- Create memorable guest experiences by actively engaging with guests, addressing feedback and continuously improving service delivery
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and recognition that supports both colleague engagement and long-term retention
The Ideal Candidate
You are an inspiring and commercially minded hospitality professional who leads with authenticity, confidence and a genuine passion for service excellence.
You will bring:
- MUST speak German
- Previous restaurant leadership experience within a premium, lifestyle or luxury hospitality environment
- Experience in food and beverage operations, with the ability to balance guest satisfaction, operational standards and financial performance
- Strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify emerging opportunities and respond to market trends
- A hands-on leadership style and the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with guests, colleagues and external partners
- A commitment to creating a workplace culture built on trust, collaboration, respect and continuous improvement
- Ideally, either a degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience within the industry
