- Contribute to the creation of safety specifications – Support the definition and documentation of safety requirements.
- Contribute to the development of safety architectures and test strategies –
Typically for SIL 2 / PL d Category 3 systems.
- Contribute to safety related software development – Specify and implement software components in accordance with EN 61508 and EN ISO 13849.
- Support the full safety lifecycle – From concept and design through verification,
validation and certification.
- Basic understanding of safety standards such as EN 61800 and EN ISO 13849.
- Initial experience in reading and/or creating safety specifications including SRS, safety concepts and architecture design.
- Confident in C/C++; experience in functional safety software development is welcome.
- First experience with safety communication protocols (e.g., FSoE) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with verification and validation, including static code analysis, unit testing and code reviews.
- Analytical mindset, structured working style and good communication skills.

- The gross annual salary for this position is EUR 50,000.00 based on full-time employment. An overpayment in line with the market is possible depending on experience and qualifications.
