As a Sales Representative | Payments Solutions, you will play a key role in expanding Shift4's presence across Austria. Managing your own territory, you will engage directly with merchants, build lasting relationships, and help businesses modernize the way they accept payments and operate.
This is a high-impact, field-based role where your success is measured by the relationships you build, the opportunities you create, and the deals you close.

Your responsibilities include:

Prospect and acquire new merchants through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and territory development.

Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations.

Drive new business acquisition and consistently achieve sales targets.

Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell payment hardware, software, and professional services.

Build trusted, long-term relationships by understanding each merchant's business needs.

Present and articulate the value of our integrated commerce and payment solutions.

Analyze merchant acquiring statements to identify opportunities and deliver competitive proposals.

Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activities, and pipeline management.

Collaborate closely with your Sales Manager while managing your territory independently.

Key competencies and qualifications. You'll drive towards success if you have:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of successful field sales, B2B sales, merchant acquiring, payments, telecommunications, SaaS, hospitality, or related commercial experience.

Proven success in outside or field sales.
-
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
-
Excellent prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

Experience using CRM systems and managing a healthy sales pipeline.

Confidence using business technology, including laptops and smartphones.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within your assigned territory.

Fluent German and strong English language skills.
