Your new responsibilities

Lead and own Oracle database services for global business-critical platforms

Ensure maximum uptime through resilient architecture, backup, recovery, and lifecycle excellence

Optimize database performance and advise teams on SQL tuning and stability improvements

Enforce secure database operations, access governance, and compliant connectivity

Design and maintain replication and disaster recovery capabilities across locations

Provide senior technical leadership for critical incidents and sustainable problem resolution

Work closely with global infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability

Steer external service providers and hold them accountable for quality and outcomes

Advance automation, standardization, and modernization across the database landscape
Who we are looking for
-
Successfully completed technical education (e.g. electronics, informatics) or comparable
- Several years of hands-on experience in enterprise Oracle database administration in complex environments including critical manufacturing workloads
- Proven capability in performance tuning, proactive monitoring, capacity management, and troubleshooting..
- Confidence in steering external service partners and holding them accountable for outcomes.
- Oracle Grid Infrastructure, RAC, Oracle APEX and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) Administration, Data Guard / GoldenGate exposure; CDB/PDB concepts; Oracle Enterprise Manager or comparable tooling
- Optional MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL operational experience
- Fluent English in a global environment; German is a plus
