Medical Affairs Lead Oncology (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the Oncology team, including setting goals, developing, and implementing strategies, and managing performance
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the Oncology department
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address opportunities for improvement
- Monitor and analyze data to inform decision making and drive continuous improvement
- Collate field insights that will be shared internally as appropriate
- Manage budgets and resources within the Oncology department
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensure that all team members adhere to relevant policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential
Qualifications
- MD, Pharmacist or PhD in life science (MD is strongly preferred)
- Industry experience in Medical Affairs is required, and therapeutic area experience is desirable
- Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop and implement effective strategies
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-performing teams and in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong ethics and integrity
