Apprenticeship: Animal keeper (m/f/d)
A responsible and ethically correct treatment of animals is of the utmost importance to us and forms the basis of our daily work.
Your tasks:
During your training, you will get to know all the activities of an animal keeper in the research environment step by step:

Care, care and species-appropriate keeping of laboratory animals (e.g. rodents)

Cleaning and disinfection of animal husbandry rooms and equipment

Control of the state of health and documentation of observations

Support for veterinary measures and experiments under supervision

Compliance with hygiene, safety and animal welfare guidelines

Participation in organizational processes in the animal sector
Your profile:

Successfully completed compulsory school (good secondary school leaving certificate or higher)

Interest in natural sciences, especially biology
-
Enjoyment of dealing with animals and responsible behavior
-
Careful, reliable and hygiene-conscious way of working

Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn

Emotional stability in dealing with sensitive research topics
