About the role
Your main tasks will include:

Accounting & Close Management - You’ll own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles. This means doing the preparatory bookkeeping, coordinating with our external advisors, managing AR/AP, handling intercompany bookings, doing bank reconciliations, and preparing reporting packs for internal and external audiences.

Revenue Operations - You’ll be responsible for sending invoices to customers, dunning, automating processes, running Stripe reconciliations, investigating failed-payment cases, and ensuring that revenue is recognized accurately.

Cash Management - You’ll own day-to-day liquidity management: processing invoices and expenses, making payments, coordinating with HR on payroll, and flagging issues before they become problems.

FP&A Support - You’ll help maintain and develop the financial models, forecasts and budgets that we use to steer the business. You’ll help maintain the data pipelines that feed into our plans, making sure the data is timely, accurate and reliable.

Process & Systems Improvement - You’ll identify and implement automation, reporting pipelines, and workflow improvements that help the finance function scale. If there’s a manual process that could be an import/export or a dashboard, you’ll be the one to fix it.

Fundraising Support - You’ll maintain organised, up-to-date financial records and documentation and support in maintaining due diligence data rooms for potential funding or partnership opportunities.

Finance-Adjacent Projects - You will have exposure to a range of areas including grants, transfer pricing, intercompany governance, fundraising, legal and compliance, HR.
Qualifications we are looking for:

3–6 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a solid grounding in accounting principles and familiarity with German HGB

Hands-on experience with financial closes, reconciliations, and reporting

Strong financial modelling skills (Excel/Google Sheets); experience building and working with forecasts and scenario models

Fluency with accounting software (e.g. DATEV, Sevdesk), spend management tools (e.g. Spendesk, Moss), payment platforms (e.g. Stripe) and AI (e.g. Claude)

Professional fluency in English and German

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and iterating processes in fast-moving environments
