MERKUR Excellence, based in Raaba near Graz, was founded in 2018 as part of the MERKUR GROUP and specializes in game design and development, with a particular focus on casino games.
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Game Developer (m/f/d) to join our team in developing high-quality slot machine games for casino platforms. In this role, you will grow your technical skills in Unity and C# while contributing to engaging gameplay features in a collaborative Agile environment. Your responsibilities
- As a Junior Game Developer (m/f/d) you will support the development and maintenance of slot machine games for casino platforms using Unity.

You’ll implement gameplay features and logic together with Producers, Game Mathematicians, and Artists in an Agile (Scrum) environment.

Moreover, you will contribute to maintaining code quality and learn how to write performant and maintainable code.

In addition, you will assist in implementing software architecture and scalable systems while applying best practices in game development under guidance from senior team members.
Your profile
- First experience with Unity

Basic to solid knowledge of C# and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Interest in developing casino games, especially slot machines

Fluent in English, German is nice to have
