The Breakdown:
As Account Specialist, you are the first point of contact for our B2B customers and distributors across 38 countries. This role is designed to support the team through the highest-volume phase of our business cycle from September / October until February / March.
What You Get to Do:
- First point of contact for B2B customers and distributors across 38 countries via ticket portal, email and phone
- Answer questions on products, availability, pricing, delivery, warranty and marketing/sales
- Support pre-season order entry in Elastic (Infor), verify orders for your territory, process reorders and flagg discrepancies early
- Track deliveries, arrange collection of incorrect or over-delivered goods and manage credits, debits and supplementary deliveries
- Apply Burton's warranty policy, advising on product claims, technical issues and spare parts
- Keep Infor customer master data accurate and support the Credit Representative on sales terms and conditions queries
- Work with Infor (M3), Elastic and Power BI, contributing to weekly team meetings, basic reporting and process improvements
What You'll Bring to The Team:
- Sound commercial education (HAK, HAS or comparable), ideally with previous experience in customer service or order management
- Experience in a B2B environment and/or working with distributors is a plus
- Fluent German and English, both written and verbal - additional European languages, especially French or Italian, are a plus
- Confident with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); experience with Infor or a similar ERP system is an advantage
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing tools (e.g. Salesforce, Zendesk) and reporting tools like Power BI or Elastic is beneficial
- Reliable, structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to stay calm and effective when things get busy
- A proactive team player with a customer-first mindset and an affinity for snowboarding or the outdoor sports
