Requirements:
— Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Compliance, or a closely related discipline.
— Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, market surveillance, financial monitoring, or a related field.
— Proven experience in market abuse detection, trade surveillance, investigation of suspicious trading patterns, or similar compliance monitoring activities.
— Solid understanding of trading mechanics, market structures, market manipulation typologies, and financial regulations, with a specific focus on the EU regulatory framework.
— Proficiency in crypto chain analysis tools such as Elliptic, Chainalysis, or similar platforms.
— Experience in implementing or supporting IT projects, preferably related to compliance, risk management, surveillance, AML/CTF, sanctions, or crypto operations.
— Relevant certification in market abuse detection would be an advantage. In the absence of such certification, AML/CTF and sanctions-related certifications may also be considered a plus.
— Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently investigate complex cases and identify potential compliance risks.
— Self-driven and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and handle compliance challenges in a fast-paced environment.
— Professional fluency in English is required; knowledge of any additional languages would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
— Internal Compliance Management
Evaluate and handle risk exposure concerning internal fraud, insider dealing, and conflicts of interest.
Establish and maintain rigorous compliance policies designed to curb unethical conduct and internal friction.
Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee alignment with both regulatory mandates and ethical benchmarks.
— Market Surveillance & Alert Analysis
Oversee the evaluation of client trading patterns to spot potential market abuse, manipulation, or illicit activities.
Autonomously gather and analyze required data from exchanges and clients to execute comprehensive investigations.
Calibrate and manage automated surveillance software to maximize the accuracy of suspicious activity alerts.
— Compliance Reporting & Notifications
Escalate suspected market infractions or internal compliance breaches to the executive leadership team.
Maintain meticulous, well-documented investigation logs to support informed corporate decision-making.
Generate regular management reports featuring data-driven insights on compliance trends, metrics, and client behavior.

For this position, a minimum monthly salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Employees in Information and Consulting is foreseen. Overpayment in line with market standards, depending on your qualifications and professional experience, is intended.
