We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at the regional headquarters in Vienna. In this role, you will lead and drive complex AI transformation program, scaling AI across the entire insurance business value chain and all Operating Entities (OEs) in the CE region, ensuring impactful outcomes for Allianz Central Europe (ACE). You will collaborate across organizational boundaries, modernize insurance business with AI, and support the Regional Chief Information Officer (CIO) in managing IT strategy and project portfolio. You will become part of the Regional AI Hub and work closely with Heads of Operations, Heads of IT, Project Managers, and local AI teams to ensure alignment, foster collaboration, and successful implementation of AI strategic initiatives.
What you do:
- Lead and manage AI transformation program across Central Europe, focusing on modernizing insurance business processes with AI and re-engineering operating models.
- Contribute to the AI strategy and drive AI projects portfolio across the CE region, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Drive the AI agenda (focused on Claims CX) across OEs: set direction, shape the regional roadmap, and drive delivery against measurable effectiveness and experience outcomes. Ensure the steering and support for implementation at local level
- Translate the AI Program ambition into a prioritized pipeline focused on high-volume transactional processes where AI delivers the largest gains.
- Take responsibility for preparing, organizing, and facilitating Regional Project Steering Committees to ensure effective decision-making and alignment across stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration within the region and across Operating Entities (OEs) to help the countries deliver AI projects effectively
What you bring:
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, within insurance or financial services.
- 7+ years of experience in claims, operations, or process transformation, with a track record of delivering efficiency or effectiveness impact
- Strong understanding of claims and customer-service processes and operating models.
- Experience in managing cross-functional collaboration, ideally in multinational context.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership levels.
- Working knowledge of AI technologies and agentic principles, and how they apply to claims and CX.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Fluent in English.
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Experience in a regional or multinational insurance organization.
- Familiarity with agentic AI e2e process redesign, document automation, or conversational AI in operations.
- Understanding of EU AI Act, DORA, and GDPR relevance to claims and customer data.
