Digital Compositor / Compositing Artist (VFX)
Indie Short Film | Black-and-White | Dystopian Drama
We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Compositor / Compositing Artist (VFX) for our completed indie short film “The Woman with the White Hat”, which is currently in post-production.
About the Film:
A dystopian black-and-white drama set in a world where every human action is monitored and controlled. Identity has been erased, and masked soldiers enforce the system’s order. At the center of the story is a woman wearing a white hat who carries a secret within her. When she realizes there is no future for her in this society, she attempts to escape — but her past catches up with her.
The film is highly visual, with minimal dialogue and a strong focus on atmosphere and visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Integrating 3D elements into live-action footage
- Compositing multiple image layers
- Cleanup and retouching (removing or replacing objects)
- Assisting with selected CGI shots
Requirements:
- Previous experience in VFX / compositing is required
- Strong knowledge of common tools (e.g. After Effects, Nuke, Blender, or similar)
- Good sense of realism and visual aesthetics
- Independent and reliable workflow
Production Details:
- Fully remote
- All materials will be provided digitally
- Communication takes place online
- No on-site presence required
Compensation:
This is an independent no-budget project, so unfortunately we are unable to offer financial compensation.
