We’re looking for an HR Generalist DACH to join our team in Vienna (hybrid).
As the HR Generalist DACH, you will play a critical role in delivering day-to-day HR services across the DACH region, supporting employees and managers with compliant HR solutions, and improving HR processes and reporting.
This position combines hands-on operational HR responsibilities with opportunities to support strategic initiatives such as employee engagement, HR process improvements, and M&A integration, driving initiatives that align with company growth objectives and operational excellence.

Support the HR Business Partner across a broad range of human resource activities, including employee relations, employee engagement, M&A activities, performance management, compensation, on- and offboarding, and employment transactions.

Provide administrative support to the DACH HR Team, including drafting contracts, amendments, certificates, and reference letters.

Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external HR-related enquiries, escalating to the appropriate team member where required.

Assist in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures.

Manage on- and offboarding administrative duties, liaise with key stakeholders, and update employee records accordingly.

Assist with, prepare, and review HR reports for the HR Business Partner, Leadership, and key stakeholders.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and draft communications for the Works Council.

Route HR-related calls and distribute correspondence to the appropriate team member.

Maintain personnel-related records in both physical and digital formats, ensuring all employment requirements are met.

Support the HR Business Partner with integration activities related to new acquisitions.

Liaise with other departments and functions, including Payroll and Recruiting.

Support other functions as assigned.
To excel in this role, you should have:

3+ years of professional experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist.

HR generalist experience supporting employees and business partners in Austria and Germany; exposure to Works Council environments and HR operations in a multinational setting.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Strong organisational and time-management skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; high level of accuracy and confidentiality; ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

Ability to work on multiple tasks at any given time, prioritising accordingly.

Proven analytical skills, including the ability to apply a logical approach to develop, test and deliver solutions to problems.

The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 3,267 (full-time), in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment and classification according to the collective bargaining agreement will be determined based on qualifications and relevant professional experience.
