Area of Topics for Internship:

Electrical design of containerized power plant solutions with a focus on 3D planning of electrical installations

Development and detailing of installation concepts using EPLAN Harness ProD

Routing and integration of electrical harnesses and cabling systems within containerized plant layouts

Creation and maintenance of electrical documentation, drawings, and technical specifications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as mechanical design, controls, project engineering, and manufacturing

Continuous improvement and standardization of modular electrical installation concepts
Your Responsibilities:
-
3D planning and design of electrical installations for containerized power plants
-
Assist in creating and maintaining harness and cabling layouts in EPLAN Harness ProD
-
Prepare and update electrical drawings, installation documentation, and parts lists
-
Support technical coordination with adjacent disciplines regarding component placement, cable routing, and installation feasibility
-
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with experienced engineers
-
Contribute to the implementation of practical and efficient electrical installation concepts for modular power plant solutions
Your Profile:
-
Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, energy engineering, or a related field
-
First experience in electrical design, installation engineering, or a comparable technical field
-
Initial experience with EPLAN P8 or similar E-CAD tools is required
-
Interest in 3D planning of electrical installations and cabling concepts in complex industrial applications
-
Basic understanding of electrical systems, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
-
Structured and proactive working style, willingness to learn, and strong team spirit
-
Good English skills

The internship is a full-time position for at least 3 months. The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.698,59 gross per month (x 14).
