How do you protect an ePassport, payment chip, secure element, connected vehicle, or IoT device against sophisticated attackers?
At NXP's Competence Center Crypto & Security, you'll join a global team of security architects, cryptographers, and embedded security experts who help build secure, trusted, and certifiable products used worldwide.
We're looking for an experienced Product Security Architect with a passion for embedded security, secure software design, and solving complex security challenges.
What You'll Do
- Define, review, and improve security architectures for embedded software, firmware, operating systems, and secure platforms.
- Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and attack surface analysis.
- Investigate security vulnerabilities, identify root causes, and define countermeasures.
- Support security-by-design throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with customers, development teams, certification bodies, and security evaluation labs.
- Contribute to innovative security solutions for next-generation connected products.
What You'll Bring
- Master's or PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong embedded software development experience in C/C++.
- Solid background in embedded security and secure system design.
- Experience with security architecture, threat analysis, or vulnerability assessments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ideally, You Also Have Experience With
- Smart Cards, Secure Elements, Java Card, or Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs)
- Common Criteria (CC), EMVCo, SESIP, or similar certification schemes
- Cryptography, Secure Boot, Key Management, HSMs, or Firmware Protection
- Secure Coding, Threat Modeling, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
