Your Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a positive work culture with a focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your HSE knowledge by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month
You will be mainly accountable for:

Driving Positive Behavioral Change – Empowering teams to embrace a risk-aware culture through HSE performance improvements and sustainable behavioral changes that strengthen our safety environment.

Learning From Incidents – Facilitating collaborative incident investigations to extract insights, identify risk drivers, and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Ensuring Transparent Reporting – Providing timely HSE incident reporting to management and stakeholders while prioritizing a learning-focused approach.

Sharing Knowledge & Best Practices – Creating feedback loops that distribute lessons learned across ABB, encouraging proactive risk identification and continuous improvement at all levels.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

Completed education or degree in HSE or a related field.
-
3–5 years of HSE experience in an international industrial environment.

Good knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Good communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and an initiative-driven mindset

Structured, well-organized, and detail-oriented way of working

Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 4.472,11 EUR monthly for a full-time position as of May 2026. But we would be pleased to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
