In your role, you will support the management and development of AT&S’s intellectual property (IP) portfolio within the Corporate R&D environment. You will contribute to securing the company’s innovation output by assisting in patent filings, managing trademark processes, and ensuring compliance with international IP regulations. Working closely with patent attorneys, legal teams, and R&D stakeholders, you will act as a key interface in IP-related matters and provide backup support to the IP administration. Your work will play an important role in strengthening AT&S’s global IP position and safeguarding its technological advancements.
- Assist in the preparation, drafting, and filing of patent applications to ensure accurate protection of innovations
- Monitor and manage IP deadlines to guarantee timely submissions and compliance with global regulations
- Maintain and further develop the trademark portfolio in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Support the development and negotiation of IP-related clauses in contracts to ensure strong IP protection
- Support patent prosecution activities, including responses to office actions and IP-related disputes
- Ensure adherence to internal IP processes through active coordination and documentation management
- Conduct prior art searches and support patentability assessments for new technologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to guide proper IP documentation throughout the innovation lifecycle
- Paralegal certification in intellectual property or several years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience (or 5 years without formal certification) in a comparable IP role
- Strong knowledge of international patent laws and IP regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail in handling complex documentation
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams, R&D, and external partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a strong advantage)
