A Snapshot of Your Day
As Head of Order Management (m/f/d) Medium Power Transformers, you lead the organization responsible for managing the factory's customer order portfolio within an Engineering-to-Order business. You ensure the successful execution of projects from order intake to delivery, meeting targets for schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction. In addition, you drive the transformation of the order management organization by strengthening project management excellence, advancing digitalization, and continuously improving processes and standards. In close collaboration with customers, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and senior management, you contribute significantly to operational performance, profitability, and sustainable business growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Order Management organization, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance culture.
- Ensure the successful execution of the project portfolio in close collaboration with Commercial Project Management (CPM), managing project performance, risks, opportunities, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive organizational and process transformation, including the implementation of best practices, digitalization initiatives, and standardized project management methodologies.
- Establish and continuously improve project management standards, governance, milestones, and quality gates in alignment with global business requirements.
What You Bring
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.
- Extensive leadership experience in project management, order management, or a comparable function within a complex manufacturing or Engineering-to-Order environment.
- Proven track record in leading organizational change, transforming processes, and driving continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.
- Strong expertise in project, risk, contract, and stakeholder management, combined with excellent communication, moderation, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent German and English language skills and experience working successfully in an international and intercultural business environment.

Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of € 84.028,28 gross/year for a full-time position, plus an All-In agreement including a variable compensation component.
