Skilled worker for steel cables (m/f/d)
(Full-time)
Your responsibilities
- As a skilled worker (strander or splicer), you will operate, set up and monitor our production equipment and ensure that the manufacturing process runs smoothly

You will manufacture components in accordance with specification documents, record materials, tools, settings and production data, and ensure compliance with all process specifications

You identify quality, safety or process deviations at an early stage, document them and coordinate necessary measures with your line manager

You monitor production progress, document set-up times and production data, and coordinate the order of jobs in consultation with your line manager

You will play an active role in continuous improvement, carry out regular inspection and maintenance tasks, and assist with the induction of new colleagues
How to convince us
- You have completed technical training (at least an apprenticeship in the metalworking industry)

You have knowledge of upstream production processes such as stranding and winding

A valid crane operator’s licence and forklift licence are required, as well as a willingness to work in a three-shift system (05:00–13:00, 13:00–21:00 and 21:00–05:00)

Close cooperation and ongoing coordination with set-up assistants, supervisors, neighbouring departments and the team comes naturally to you

You have a very good command of German (at least B2 level) and the ability to carry out work instructions confidently; furthermore, you work with an eye for quality, independently and as part of a team
