About the Role: If you’re passionate about helping people live healthier, happier lives, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference. As a Personal Trainer with ACH Group, you’ll design and deliver exercise offerings that empower older people to stay active, reduce the impact of chronic disease, and enjoy life to the fullest.
This is a casual role with up to 3 regular shifts per week. Based in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. You’ll also take your expertise into the community, visiting customers in their homes to deliver personalised exercise programs that meet them where they are.
What You’ll Do:
- Support customers to reach their fitness and health goals through tailored activities
- Create engaging programs that inspire older people to stay active and confident
- Facilitate individual and group exercise sessions as guided by an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Build strong relationships with customers, families, carers, and Allied Health professionals
- Champion Healthy and Active Ageing across ACH Group
About You:
You’re a skilled, enthusiastic Personal Trainer who genuinely cares about helping older people live a Good Life. You bring energy, empathy, and a commitment to quality care.
You’ll also have:
- Experience as a Personal Trainer (experience with older adults is highly valued)
- A valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong motivational and engagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, no older than 12 months at commencement of employment
- Certificate IV in Personal Training or Exercise Scientist accredited with Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA)
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
Bonus points if you also hold a Certificate III in Aged Care.

ACH Group is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector.
