In this versatile role, you’ll oversee our systems from design through to final documentation, work closely with suppliers, and make a significant contribution to the further development of our products. TASKS
- Design and engineering of mechanical assemblies, machines, and systems, as well as the development of custom solutions from the concept phase through to project readiness
- Creation of 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and individual part and assembly drawings
- Technical design and sizing of steel structure, machine, and plant components
- Conducting and evaluating strength, tolerance, and functional analyses
- Selection and specification of standard and purchased parts (bearings, drives, chains, hydraulic/pneumatic components, etc.), as well as creation and maintenance of bill of materials
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and customer specifications
- Close collaboration with project management, manufacturing, assembly, electrical design, and automation, as well as technical clarifications with customers and suppliers; including support with procurement
- Preparation of technical documentation, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to the further development of design standards and processes
PROFILE
- Completed degree (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering/mechatronics or equivalent relevant experience
- Professional experience in design is a plus
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD and basic calculation methods
- Basic technical knowledge of aluminum foundries is a plus
- Interest in technical contexts and creativity in planning
- Completed military or civilian service and a Class B driver’s license
- Very good German and English skills (B2 level or higher)

We offer an attractive and competitive salary, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
The minimum gross annual base salary according to the collective agreement (Metalworking industry) for full-time employment is € 47,546.
