Overview of Role
Reporting to the HR & Office Manager, the HR Specialist will play a key role in growing organizational capability by building external talent pipelines, attracting and recruiting diverse and talented candidates, and evolving our talent acquisition practices in the EMEA region. This role will also support the HR & Office Manager in creating an environment that inspires and enables our talented team of diverse, inclusive, and caring people by helping to drive regional People & Culture/HR initiatives that bring our global plans to life within the region. This includes record keeping, onboarding, employee engagement and retention, total rewards, career development and other HR business partnership as needed.
Responsibilities (EN):
Core Responsibilities

Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the People and Culture team and the rest of the organization
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across the EMEA region, recruiting talent that meets our immediate and long-term needs

Continuously improve our recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience

Partner with our EMEA-based managers in relation to Talent Acquisition, ensuring they have the talent pipeline, tools and confidence to recruit diverse talent that adds to organizational capability and culture

Build and maintain active and passive talent pipelines for key roles identified in the talent mapping process

Support the HR & Office Manager and collaborate with the global People & Culture team in implementing regional People & Culture initiatives aligned to global operating plans
- Support the HR & Office Manager in executing all local aspects of HR business partnership, aligning with global People & Culture team where needed, ensuring a world-class employee experience, data integrity and compliance with Austrian labour law and company policies

Partner with hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for all new hires, including direct support in relocation assistance
- Strengthen BOA’s employer brand by representing BOA at talent attraction initiatives and building engagement with candidates, universities, professional associations, and industry networks

Support the annual benchmarking and labor market research process to generate regional insights that inform our global compensation plan, collaborating and aligning with global People & Culture team
Qualifications (EN):
Required Qualifications
-
2+ years experience in a recruiting role or HR role

Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes and partnering with hiring managers

Knowledge of Austrian employment laws and collective agreements
- A passion for continuously learning and seeking out new approaches

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the globe

High level of accuracy, discretion and attention to detail

Confident communication and presentation skills

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications

Experience in both Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist responsibilities

Experience working in an international organisation

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Legal Statement
For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement, which is from 2362.- EUR gross per month. However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries and are therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary, depending on your experience and skills.
