At BRUNA, quality is what turns a piece of jewellery into a BRUNA piece. As our Quality & Product Manager, you own that quality bar and make sure every piece meets it, from the moment it arrives at our warehouse to the moment it reaches a customer.
You are the person who knows our collection inside out, who spots a quality issue before our customers do and who makes sure every BRUNA piece lives up to the brand we are building. You work closely with Operations, Jewellery Design and the wider team to keep our quality consistent across every order that leaves the warehouse.
Quality Assurance (your core)
You own our product quality bar. You carry out regular quality checks at our warehouse in Vienna, conduct incoming goods inspections and document quality issues systematically. You know what good looks like on a clasp, a stone setting, a plating or a finish and you can identify when something is off. You analyse return and complaint data to spot recurring issues and translate those insights into action, whether that is a conversation with a supplier, structured feedback to our Jewellery Design team or a change to our packaging.
Product Expertise
You are our internal product encyclopedia. You understand the materials, the craftsmanship and the construction behind each piece. You build and maintain product knowledge resources for the team, train colleagues on new collections and act as the bridge between what customers tell us and what Jewellery Design and Operations need to hear.
Continuous Improvement
You question existing structures and processes and bring in new ideas on how we can further improve our product quality. Your insights from returns, complaints and everyday product checks feed directly into how we make and improve our pieces.
Cross-functional Collaboration
You report to our Operations & Supply Chain Lead and work closely with Jewellery Design, Logistics, our customer excellence team and our flagship store. Your insights shape product decisions, not just service ones.
-
You come from jewellery. A trained goldsmith (Goldschmied) or someone with hands-on exposure to product quality, materials (metals, stones, plating) or craftsmanship would be a strong fit.
-
You have 2+ years in a product or quality role, with genuine product or quality responsibility rather than pure service.
-
You have a sharp eye for detail and can assess craftsmanship. You can spot a flaw in a clasp, a stone setting or a plating and judge whether a piece meets the bar.
-
You are confident carrying out quality checks and incoming goods inspections and documenting your findings in a structured, systematic way.
-
You are comfortable working with data. You can analyse return and complaint data, spot recurring issues and turn them into concrete actions for suppliers, Jewellery Design or Operations.
-
You can translate product knowledge for others. You enjoy building resources and training colleagues on new collections.
-
You are a confident point of contact for customers, handling complex product questions with clarity and care.
-
You are a strong communicator in German and English, spoken and written, and comfortable talking to both suppliers and customers.
-
You work independently, diligently and with a solution-oriented mindset. When something is not right, you address it.
-
You are based in Vienna and happy to visit our warehouse regularly for product checks.
