The Vienna Doctoral School of Philosophy (
The Doctoral School offers a 12-months Completion Contract for fellows of the DocSchool. This Completion Contract aims to support a highly qualified fellow in the final phase of the doctoral studies. The recipient will be employed as University Assistants (praedoc) and will work at the Department of Philosophy.
Your future tasks:
You actively participate in research, which means:
Your main task is to complete and to submit your dissertation.
You meet and consult with your supervisor(s) on a regular basis in order to priorities your tasks and get the necessary support to complete your dissertation successfully in time.
You participate in your department's and the Doctoral School activities and workshops.
You participate in conferences and publish research results in peer-reviewed journals.

Excellent PhD studies record
Commitment to succesfully complete your doctoral studies within the anticipated time frame.
Excellent command of written and spoken English or German.
High level of written and oral communication skills
