- Location: Remote within Europe, or hybrid from one of our hubs
- Languages: Fluent English, plus at least one of German, Italian, Spanish or French at native or near-native level. More than one is a real advantage.
- Experience: Entry level, this is a role for someone at the start of their commercial career. No prior sales experience required.
- Contract: Part-time
Millions of people interact with fiskaly every day, even if they don't realize it. As a B2B company, we power the retail technology behind digital receipts and secure, legally compliant transactions.
By making receipts tamper-proof through digital signatures, we help fight tax fraud. And with our paperless receipt solution, we offer consumers a modern alternative while helping merchants streamline their operations.
Sure, our solutions sound complex but our mission is simple: make receipts easy for everyone.
Three things make up most of this job: calling people who have never heard of fiskaly, working out who is worth calling in the first place, and automating whichever parts you can do better.
The research matters more than the title suggests. When we enter a new market, someone has to map which POS vendors operate there and which of them are worth approaching. That will be you, and the sales team will act on what you find. Those markets are all over Europe, which is why the languages you speak genuinely change what you can take on here.
On the automation side, we use Claude and tools like Make.com. If you can build something that enriches our prospect data faster than a person can, that's a better use of your afternoon than copy-pasting.
The rest is supporting the sales team as things come up: ad hoc requests, trade fair preparation, and topics that cross over into accounting.
- Cold calling and outreach: Be the first point of contact for potential customers by phone, email and LinkedIn — consistently, and without needing to be nudged. You'll work in the language of the market you're calling into.
- Lead research and market mapping: Research competitors and potential customers in markets we're entering, and turn what you find into reports the sales team can act on — for example, mapping the POS vendor landscape in a new country.
- Data enrichment: Keep our CRM and prospect data clean, complete and useful — and find smarter ways to enrich it than doing it by hand.
- AI projects: Own dedicated AI projects that make the sales organisation faster. We use Claude and tools like Make.com, and you'll have the freedom to experiment with new ones.
- Supporting the sales team: Take repetitive tasks off the plate of our sales colleagues, react to ad hoc requests, and adapt to whatever the team needs that week.
- Trade fair planning: Help plan and prepare our presence at trade fairs across Europe, from logistics to the target list of who we want to meet there.
- Cross-department collaboration: Work with colleagues across sales and accounting — and across countries — reaching out to customers proactively when a topic requires it.
- You're not afraid of the phone. Cold calling doesn't put you off. You understand that most calls don't land, and you make the next one anyway.
- You're proactive and self-driven. You spot what needs doing and start it, rather than waiting to be assigned.
- You work comfortably in English. It's our company language and how the team operates day to day.
- You have at least one European market you can call into like a local. German, Italian, Spanish or French at native or near-native level — which one matters less than having one.
- You're curious about what we do. Fiscalization, compliance and payments aren't obvious topics to get excited about, but if the technology behind every receipt interests you, you'll enjoy it here.
- You're curious about AI. You already play around with AI tools and want to use them for real work, not just to try them out.
- You're comfortable with everyday tools. Google Workspace and standard office programs hold no surprises for you.
- You're open and a team player. You bring a positive attitude, ask for help when you need it, and are eager to learn.
We sell across seven European markets, and the person doing this research and outreach hits the limits of their languages fast. Every additional one — German, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch — widens the set of markets you can map and the prospects you can actually pick up the phone to.
If you've studied or worked in more than one country, that's exactly the kind of background that fits this role.
We're building products that matter, and we know that takes focus, trust, and the right environment. Here's what you can expect:
- The possibility to grow, to try new things, and to fail and to learn in a supportive and encouraging environment
- 25 vacation days/year if you are based in Austria
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid work arrangement
- Opportunities for personal and professional development
- A public transportation ticket
- Company hardware of your choice (Windows, Linux or Mac)
- Access to a spacious and bright office close to a subway station (Neubaugasse U3)
- A vibrant, inclusive company culture that values your well-being and personal growth
We work on real problems that have impact, not vanity projects. Our team is pragmatic, direct, and focused on building solid tech for an industry that needs it. We care about how things work, not how they look on paper. If that resonates, you'll probably enjoy working here.
