What you will do – A glimpse into your role:
As a Solution Specialist Payments, you will be the face of Global Blue by Shift4 in your territory. You’ll build long-term partnerships with local merchants, help them modernise their payment infrastructure, and grow your own portfolio of clients.
This is a field-based role with a high degree of autonomy — ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building trust, and seeing direct results from their work.
Your responsibilities include
Proactively identify and approach new merchants in your territory.
Present Global Blue by Shift4’s payment terminals and services in face-to-face meetings
Close new deals and onboard merchants onto our platform
Support existing clients with additional services (hardware, software, professional services)
Act as a trusted partner by understanding merchants’ needs and challenges
Clearly communicate the value of our end-to-end payment solutions
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Understand merchant statements and tailor the best commercial solution
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management
Collaborate closely with your manager and internal teams
Continuously build product and market knowledge

Key competencies and qualifications. You’ll drive success if you bring:
Completed secondary education (minimum requirement)
Proven experience in outside/field sales (e.g., door-to-door, territory sales)
A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience working with CRM systems
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Confidence using laptops, smartphones, and digital tools
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your territory
Languages: Fluent German and English.
