We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Students (Finance or Business) to support Valutico across our product, valuation services, and strategy teams. This is a flexible 10-hour-per-week role designed to give you hands-on exposure to a fast-growing SaaS scaleup in the fintech space, while giving our teams reliable support on high priority tasks. You will work directly with experienced colleagues across the business and see how an AI-native product is built, sold, and scaled internationally. You can make this role a lot by shaping it yourself, some of the topics where we would like your support:

Platform Review and Testing: Help review and test our platforms (the Valuation Tool and Virtual Data Room / Diligence Tool), validate translations, identify bugs, usability gaps, and inconsistencies before they reach clients

Research and Competitive Benchmarking: Research new functionalities, market trends, and competitor offerings, and distill findings into clear, decision-ready summaries

Marketing Materials: Support in the content drafting of marketing materials such as white papers, webinars, social media postings, or website content

Data analytics: Run selective analysis on internal datasets, provide insights and support cleaning of databases

Valuation Project Support: Assist our valuation team on live projects, from data gathering and comparable company research to quality checks on model inputs and outputs

Cross-Functional Support: Take on ad-hoc tasks across strategy, product, marketing, sales, and finance as they arise, giving you broad exposure to how the business operates end to end
Requirements
Must-Haves:

You are currently enrolled in a Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related degree program (Bachelor or Masters) at a University in Vienna

You are physically located in Austria (not currently on exchange outside of Austria)

You have strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented way of working

You are fluent in English (written and spoken)

You have an ownership mindset – reliability, initiative, and the ability to manage tasks independently with limited supervision are not new to you

You are comfortable to work in a fast-paced, digital-first environment and are proficient in using AI tools in all your work

You have an interest in the broader Corporate Finance/Investments/M&A space and are eager to learn more about it

You can commit to work in this role at least 4 months, ideally 6-12 months
Nice-to-Have:

Foundational understanding of valuation methodologies and quantitative finance (e.g., DCF (Discounted Cash Flow), trading comparables, balance sheets & cash flow statements) - you don’t need to be an expert, we will easily build on your existing knowledge!

Fluency or professional proficiency in an additional language beyond English (German, French, Spanish, Italian or others)

Prior internship or working-student experience in Finance, Accounting/Audit, Consulting, Investment Banking, M&A, VC/PE, or a Software/AI environment

Basic exposure to product testing, QA (Quality Assurance), or software development
