Adaptive Regelsysteme GmbH (ADRESYS), a subsidiary of the OMICRON Group, is a growing development center (approx. 30 employees) specializing in testing solutions for the electrical power sector—among other products, the company located in Salzburg developed the COMPANO 100, a portable testing device for primary and secondary feeders and basic protection testing.
To strengthen and further develop our team, we are looking for a Hardware Developer for Electronics, 80-100% (f/m/x)
Your role
- You’ll work in an interdisciplinary team, designing and implementing electronic circuits based on state-of-the-art analog and digital technologies—knowledge of power electronics is a great fit for your profile.
- You verify hardware quality through test series and measurements conducted throughout the development process, both in the lab and sometimes in the field (including EMC)
- Together with other colleagues (firmware, software, mechanics etc.), you are jointly responsible for bringing together and integrating the electronic components into a working system
- You will oversee our products from the initial idea through concept and prototype development all the way to production and maintenance
- You will be part of a diverse development team and embody our culture of open review, exchange, and learning
What makes you a great fit
- You have a solid educational background in electronics or electrical engineering
- You have several years (>5) of experience in hardware development for analog and digital systems, as well as experience in EMC
- You want to think beyond your specific field and understand an electronic system as a whole
- Experience with Allegro (Cadence) is a plus, and
- You know where the “hot end of the soldering iron” is
- You enjoy team-oriented work; a respectful communication style and active exchange of ideas are important to you
- You are comfortable with English
