mohemian is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack to join our team in Innsbruck. We are seeking an experienced engineer who thrives on designing sophisticated, maintainable systems and who wants to play a decisive role in shaping technical direction across projects.

This role is for engineers who go beyond pure implementation, who think in architectures, long-term sustainability, and product impact.

Your Contribution

Architect and build robust full-stack applications with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term evolution.
Design APIs, microservices, and data models that support complex, production-grade systems.
Lead modernization initiatives, including refactoring and migrating legacy systems across backend, frontend, and mobile interfaces.
Take end-to-end ownership of the software lifecycle, from requirements engineering and architecture to delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
Elevate engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership.
Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure, and cloud deployments to improve reliability and developer productivity.
Ensure high standards in performance, security, observability, and testing across systems.
Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.

Your Experience

Professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production systems.
Strong experience designing and evolving RESTful APIs and distributed or microservice-based architectures.
Deep proficiency in modern frontend technologies (React or Vue) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
Proven experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation in production environments.
Strong understanding of system design, API contracts, integration patterns, and testing strategies.
Ability to balance pragmatism with long-term architectural thinking.
Experience reviewing code, guiding peers, and raising engineering standards.
Proficiency in modern AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., LLM-based coding assistants, code generation, AI-driven testing and analysis tools), with the ability to integrate them responsibly and effectively into engineering workflows.
Fluent in English, with the ability to clearly communicate technical trade-offs and decisions.
