Senior Structured Finance Manager (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
Actively manage a portfolio of international structured financings for infrastructure and energy transactions („first line of defense“)
As primary point of contact, interact independently with the senior management of the borrowers, syndicate banks, facility agents, and external advisers
As member in a cross-functional transaction team for all new business, leverage your experience from managing existing exposures and thus, help ensure that new propositions remain within the bank’s appetite and portfolio parameters
Prepare annual credit reviews (incl. internal credit rating proposal) and present them in Credit Committee
Analyze and negotiate finance contract amendments and waivers, and procure relevant internal approvals
Monitor ongoing operational and financial performance of borrowers, compliance with financial covenants and other contractual obligations (e.g. reporting requirements)
Participate in bank meetings and attend site visits (mostly international)
Requirements
University degree in Economics/Business Administration or Law or equivalent training
Subject matter expertise (min. 7 years) in international structured financing (e.g. non/limited recourse Project Finance, Leveraged Finance or structured Corporate Finance) either in a client-facing unit or in a credit risk function
In-depth working knowledge of LMA standard loan documentation
Extensive expertise in working with Excel-based financial models to assess credit risk and to perform stress tests
Highly motivated and proactive individual, with strong interpersonal and team-working skills, demonstrating sound business judgement as well as possessing an analytical, yet pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and preferably also German)
For good order’s sake, we note that in accordance with the collective agreement for bank employees and bankers, the monthly fixed salary for this position is set at around EUR 4.600,-. However, this is of course negotiable and we are fully cognizant that the skillset sought by us for this position does justify a markedly higher remuneration.
