The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:
Systems Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the hotel's entire IT infrastructure, including client, server, network, and peripheral systems.
- Provide first- and second-level IT support for all employees, handling IT requests and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Assist with the administration of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user accounts.
- Monitor network, Wi-Fi, and telephone systems, and assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure the proper operation of printers, POS systems, TV systems, and other hotel technology applications.
- Support IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts in accordance with Marriott standards.
- Perform regular system backups and assist with IT security measures and compliance requirements.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, system changes, and IT asset inventory.
- Collaborate with external service providers and the regional Marriott IT team.
- Be available to provide support outside regular working hours when required and participate in the on-call support rotation.
- Work closely with all hotel departments and report directly to the IT Manager.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field.
- Initial professional experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with computer hardware, printers, mobile devices, and standard IT peripherals.
- A structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal guests and colleagues.
- High level of responsibility and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and participate in an on-call support rotation.

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.263,00 per month. A higher salary will be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
