About the Role
Guydeez is looking for enthusiastic locals based in Salzburg who enjoy sharing their city’s charm, history, and culture with international visitors.
This role involves leading private, personalized walking experiences for small groups and helping travelers discover the best of Salzburg in an engaging and authentic way.
No professional guiding license is required — just strong local knowledge, a friendly personality, and a passion for sharing your city.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead private walking experiences (3–8 hours) across Salzburg
- Share cultural, historical, and local insights
- Introduce landmarks, neighborhoods, and hidden gems
- Adapt each experience based on guest interests and pace
- Create a welcoming, engaging, and professional atmosphere
- (Optional) Host food or gastronomy-focused experiences
Profile Required
- Strong knowledge of Salzburg’s culture, history, and main areas
- Comfortable interacting with international visitors
- Fluent in at least one language (English required; additional languages such as German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese are a plus)
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident communicator
- Comfortable guiding for several hours
- Experience in tourism or hospitality is a plus but not required
