Your areas of impact
In this role, you will develop innovative mechatronic solutions and drive systems for our high-precision pick-and-place machines, with a focus on:
Simulation, development, specification, qualification, and documentation of mechatronic systems with a focus on control engineering applications (including mechanical, electronic, and software components)
Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams such as electronics development, software development, mechanical and electrical integration, procurement, and application engineering
Technical focus areas: control engineering, vibration engineering, electrical engineering, power electronics, measurement engineering, sensor technology, and system theory
Participation in and consulting on the evaluation and selection of drive systems and components
Acting as a technical interface to internal departments as well as suppliers, customers, and research partners
Continuous development of technical expertise by monitoring industry trends and implementing relevant innovations
Your capacity for excellence
Degree in engineering (FH/University) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, control engineering, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in measurement and control technology is an advantage
Strong proficiency in the use of common software tools within the motion/control engineering environment is essential for this role
Experience in programming mechatronic systems is a plus
Strong communication skills, creativity, and ability to work under pressure
Willingness to travel occasionally on an international level
Good German and English language skills
