This is a 100% remote, home-based position. While you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe through digital channels, occasional travel for team meetings or customer events (typically 1–2 trips per year) is expected.

As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow a diverse portfolio of customers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Your customers will range from local laboratories and universities to hospitals, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, food and beverage manufacturers, automotive companies, semiconductor manufacturers and many other organisations driving innovation across research, healthcare and industry.
You'll become a trusted partner who understands your customers' needs, helps them navigate our broad portfolio of products and services, and identifies opportunities to strengthen our partnership over time.
This is a proactive sales role where relationship building, curiosity and commercial thinking are just as important as achieving sales targets. You'll engage customers through phone, video meetings and digital channels while collaborating with colleagues across Europe to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Develop trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of customers.

Understand customers' scientific, operational and commercial needs through meaningful conversations.

Help customers identify the right laboratory products, chemicals, instruments and consumables by working closely with our internal product specialists and trusted supplier partners.

Introduce customers to relevant products, services and solutions across our broad portfolio.

Deliver against sales goals while creating real value for your customers.

Support customers in making the most of our digital tools and online purchasing experience.

Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce.

Follow up on opportunities and keep customer activities well organised.

Collaborate with Inside Sales and Field Sales colleagues to ensure customers receive the right level of support when needed.

Work closely with colleagues across Sales, eBusiness and Digital teams to continuously improve the customer experience.

Share customer insights that help improve our products, processes and digital tools.

Contribute to a collaborative, supportive and high-performing European sales team.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences or another relevant discipline.
Previous experience in sales, account management or business development is highly preferred.
Confidence engaging customers proactively by phone, video and digital channels.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A resilient, self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
Curiosity to understand customers' challenges and translate them into valuable solutions.
You don't need to be a technical expert in our product portfolio. What matters most is your commercial mindset, willingness to learn and ability to build strong customer relationships. Our experienced product specialists and supplier partners will support you with technical expertise.
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system is an advantage.
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Comfortable working independently in a 100% remote, home-based role.
Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings and customer events (typically 1–3 trips per year).
The payment takes place according to the collective agreement of Trade, Crafts and Services. The monthly base gross salary for this position is at least € 2.362 and will be overpaid according to qualifications and professional experience.
