Job Duties:
- Collaboration on research topics in the field of chemical process engineering
- Execution and evaluation of measurements as well as maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Planning, preparation and independent execution of experiments
- Documentation, analysis and interpretation of test results
- Assistance and training of new employees
- Organization of chemicals (purchasing, administration and disposal)
- Participation in innovative research approaches as well as support in project and application applications (national and international)
- Close cooperation with colleagues from the Johannes Kepler University Linz as well as external university institutions and institutes
- Active contribution to the expansion of research activities
Your Qualifications:
- Training as a chemical-technical assistant or comparable qualification
- Sound knowledge of laboratory work
- Experience in working with international partners is an advantage
- Programming or scripting skills are a plus, as well as knowledge of Arduino or Raspberry Pi
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills (C1; essential for communication, publications and cooperations)
- High motivation for cooperative research and interdisciplinary cooperation
- Independent, structured way of working as well as the ability to think critically and co-develop new experimental and model-based methods
What We Offer:
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 2,620.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: IIb)
