On behalf of our client, a 4*S Hotel in Haldensee, Austria, we are looking for a Chef de Rang!
Main duties:

Insure in the smooth running of the section
-
Assisting junior team members
-
Deliver excellent standards of service in a friendly and professional manner to our guests

Proactively welcome and greet all guests and visitors to the Restaurant and the Hotel
-
Assist in the set up if the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and ready
-
Seat guests offering them menus, drinks and provide explanations of the menu when required
-
Deal efficiently and courteously with all guest queries
-
Ensure the restaurant environment is always maintained and cleaned to a high standard both during and after service
-
Deliver consistent, exceptional service in line with the luxury standards

Excellent knowledge of restaurant menus in order to be able to offer guidance and make recommendations
The ideal candidate will:

have a passion for all things food and beverage

be able to help train and supervise team members ensuring they deliver consistent quality of service

have previous experience in a similar environment

have a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a 4* and 5* establishments

be creative minded with a passion and respect for the provenance of food
