The CSA division supplies sensors that bridge the gap between the world we live in and the digital world of machines. By converting physical signals - heartbeats, sounds, light waves - into data, we enable robots, cars and other devices to interact with people and improve our world. What drives CSA is a relentless desire to contribute to technology and have a meaningful impact on the world. This business thrives on solving complex problems and partnering with global leaders at the forefront of technological advancement. Our goal: to push the boundaries of sensor technology and empower innovators to make the world smarter, healthier and happier.
- Establish an AI based technology scouting capability to systematically identify, structure, and benchmark: relevant technologies, products and research trends from external and internal sources.
- Develop AI workflows for: automated scanning of large information spaces (publications, patents, reports, web sources), structuring and comparison of technologies and solutions, synthesis of insights into a shared “state of the art” view.
- Analyze how AI supported scouting can: shorten scouting and benchmarking cycles, reduce duplication of studies across teams, propose a structured approach for capturing “lessons learned” at the end of scouting studies, explore the potential of reusing these lessons as machine readable knowledge to build a long term AI assisted knowledge base.
- Enrolled Master’s student in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of AI / ML methods
- Experience with Python and common ML/AI
- Familiarity with technology scouting, literature analysis, patents, and benchmarking is a strong plus
- Ability to structure complex information and communicate results clearly
- Self‑driven, analytical, and comfortable working with incomplete or heterogeneous data
- Very good English skills (written and spoken)
