Are you a leader who combines a passion for great products with a passion for growing great engineers? We're looking for a Team Engineering Lead to guide a high-impact team owning both what the team builds and how the team grows, in an AI-native world. You'll partner closely with Product Managers, Product Architecture, and cross-functional teams to shape the roadmap, deliver on commitments, and embed modern AI tooling and agentic ways of working into everyday engineering.
We are looking for a visionary engineering leader who is eager to drive technical execution and champion an AI-first development culture. In this role, you will lead a talented team, owning both strategic roadmap delivery and the growth of your engineers.
Lead and line-manage a high-performing engineering team: Lead and line-manage a team of approximately 10–15 Software Engineers, owning end-to-end delivery, timelines, quality, and production releases while driving hiring, team scaling, and organizational growth initiatives.
Own roadmaps and priorities: Drive the team's roadmap and backlog by translating product vision into actionable plans, balancing technical trade-offs, and representing the team's direction to stakeholders across departments.
Drive agile execution and strategic alignment: Drive daily execution with modern agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) to set clear goals, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and align roadmap execution with company strategy.
Champion an AI-first engineering culture: Promote an AI-first culture by introducing AI-driven SDLC practices, agentic systems, and LLM tooling that measurably accelerate how your team designs, builds, and ships.
Foster career progression and technical excellence: Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team, taking direct responsibility for professional development, promotions, and comprehensive compensation planning.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong software engineering background and a proven track record of managing agile delivery. You possess a passion for mentoring others, and are comfortable guiding teams through ambiguity with excellent communication skills.
Proven leadership and people management experience: Bring 3+ years of experience leading and growing engineering teams, including responsibility for career development, performance, hiring, and coaching.
Strong software engineering foundation: Maintain a solid technical background in software engineering that informs daily technical judgment and enables you to foster technical excellence within the team.
Strategic roadmap and backlog ownership: Demonstrate experience owning a product backlog or roadmap, with a strong ability to break down high-level requirements into actionable delivery plans while balancing trade-offs.
Hands-on expertise in AI-driven development: Have hands-on experience or familiarity with AI-driven development, including agentic systems, LLM tooling, and context infrastructure such as MCP, RAG, or knowledge bases.
Agile delivery and ambiguity management: Show fluency with modern agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and a proven ability to operate and make decisions in ambiguous environments to keep the team moving forward.
