Your position is at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology. The position is assigned to the Research Unit “Developmental psychology” (Chair Prof. Dr. Stefanie Höhl). The group focuses primarily on aspects of social-cognitive development in early childhood and conducts research on topics such as the development of joint attention and social learning. Our methodological focus is on experimental and neuroscience research (e.g., eye tracking, EEG, fNIRS). We offer an excellent working environment including a fully equipped lab with cutting-edge technology, international collaborations and substantial support for early-career researchers.
The candidate should have a strong interest in developmental cognitive neuroscience and its experimental methods, in particular EEG and or fNIRS and eye-tracking. Applicants should have experience conducting and analysing neuroscientific experiments with infants and children. The ideal candidate will have experience in the analysis of neurophysiological data from different age groups, in particular using frequency and/or time-frequency analyses.
The employment duration is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a non-extension declaration.
