Responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and assemblies in low voltage applications. This role ensures that all LVSA products meet performance, quality, and safety standards, while supporting manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement.
Design & Development
- Develop and optimize electrical designs for LVSA products, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
- Select components (switchgear, breakers, relays, busbars, control devices) according to technical, quality, and cost requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, National Standards).
Manufacturing Support
- Provide technical guidance to production and assembly teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and System Architects to ensure seamless integration of components.
Quality & Compliance
- Validate designs through testing, simulation, and prototyping.
- Review products to ensure adherence to safety regulations and internal quality policies.
- Participate in root-cause analysis for defects or failures and implement corrective actions.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Work with Process Engineers to streamline manufacturing steps and reduce assembly time.
- Recommend design changes to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
3–5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in LV switchgear, panel building, or system assembly.
- Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, protection devices, and control circuits.
- Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC 61439, UL 508A, etc.).
Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools"
