Internship (w/m/x) - Corporate Development & Strategic Steering (38.5h/week)
In Group Strategy, the Corporate Development and Strategic Steering department performs the tasks of a traditional strategy and corporate M&A department. These include, among other things, the development of strategic options for the RBI Group and/or its subsidiaries, the implementation thereof (e.g. acquisitions, divestments,…), the preparation of market and competitive analyses, and the development of strategic projects.

Working hours: Fulltime, 38.5 h/week
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: 1030 Vienna

Your role with us on the team
You support us in conducting market and competitive analyses (incl. collaboration with experts from different areas of the bank, e.g. Finance, Risk, Business Lines, etc.)
You assist in the development of strategic plans and ad-hoc projects
You assist in the preparation and execution of potential M&A projects
You prepare information and decision documents for the RBI Board and the top management
You assist in the organization of board meetings and strategy workshops
You support us in research activities on our markets in the CEE region
This job is made for you, if...
you are an active student at a university or university of applied sciences, majoring in business administration, economics, mathematics or similar
you speak English at a professional level. German or an additional CEE language is a plus
you are experienced in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Experience in other IT tools and applications such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ are a plus
you like to challenge the status quo to drive performance
you have a strong interest in banking, finance, M&A, and capital markets
you are quick on the uptake and complete tasks in a structured manner
you work independently but also enjoy working in a team and in an international environment
