IT Business Analyst / Application Manager (f/m/x) in Agile Delivery Capital Markets
We are strengthening our team in Agile Delivery Capital Markets and are looking for ambitious and service-oriented candidates. We are ready to offer a challenging adaptive environment with various development possibilities.
In this position you will join as an IT Business Analyst / Application Manager our Foreign Exchange and Money Market Stream which is responsible for running and enhancing the eFX Trading infrastructure of the RBI group. Together with a motivated team you will be working in an international environment and support many stakeholders as a central coordinator for our 3rd party as well as own developed applications both on the operation and innovation side. Although based in Vienna, the role has also a strong CEE focus and interaction with clients in 11 countries.
Your mission:

Perform in an agile framework by supporting other team members, like the product owner or developers by pulling tasks and fulfill the team commitments

Interesting and flexible tasks in many areas as well as various technologies
From Requirements analyses to testing the implementation
From bringing in new ideas to develop them with the team
You will be working co-located on the trading floor directly with Traders and Sales
Your core competencies:
University degree in Business Informatics, Business Economics or similar
Strong IT / Engineering affinity and Delivery-focused mindset.
+2 years experience as an Application Manager/Business Analyst in an international company
Know how in Foreign Exchange and Money Market / showing strong interest in Capital Markets
Experience writing functional specifications, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
Ability to work closely with Java / Springboot microservices engineering teams.
Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, messaging, CI/CD, and non-functional requirements.
Advanced SQL skills, ideally PostgreSQL and Oracle.
Familiar with FIX protocol and FIX engines like QuickFIX/J
Experience in Automated Testing / Postman / Javascript
Experience with monitoring microservices on Amazon Web Services platform
Experience supporting UAT, SIT, test planning, defect triage, and production releases.
Hands-on experience with agile and adaptive working methodologies (Dev-Ops/Scrum/Kanban)
Team player, service orientation, high level of commitment and motivation
Fluent knowledge of English; German is appreciated, but not mandatory

Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3375,40 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
