About us
Tractive is the most trusted name for keeping cats and dogs safe and healthy. The secret to our success? A team of truly unique individuals who care about each other just as much as going the extra mile for pet parents. Want to be part of our story? Check out this role and see if you’re a good match!
Your territory
As part of our Hardware team, you will:
Analyze and optimize RF performance for our next-generation pet trackers with focus on antenna efficiency, power consumption, and wireless reliability through antenna matching, tuning, and integration activities
Define RF requirements and validation criteria during product development for LTE, GNSS, Wi-Fi, and BLE technologies
Perform comprehensive RF validation and characterization, designing and executing RF performance test plans with detailed measurement reports and pass/fail verdicts
Conduct passive and active RF measurements including TRP/TIS, conducted and radiated measurements, sensitivity, coexistence, and OTA testing
Perform RF debugging at system and PCB level including interference, desense, harmonics, spurious emissions, and EMC-related issues
Review RF layouts and provide design recommendations to hardware teams for optimal RF performance
Work closely with hardware and firmware teams on radio architecture and wireless subsystem integration
Support certification activities including FCC, CE, IC, RCM, and EMC/EMI compliance, collaborating with external labs, antenna vendors, chipset vendors, and certification partners
Develop and maintain automation scripts for RF instruments and validation workflows
Support production RF testing activities, analyze production yield issues, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure consistent wireless performance during mass production
Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
