The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:
Host / Hostess – Dinner Service Dstrikt Steakhouse (full-time or part-time 5 days)

As the Hostess of Dstrikt Steakhouse, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional evening of dining and hospitality. You will ensure every guest is welcomed with warmth and professionalism, seated seamlessly, and cared for throughout their experience in a manner that reflects The Ritz-Carlton’s legendary service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, using guest names whenever possible
- Manage and coordinate reservations, walk-in guests, and seating arrangements to optimize guest satisfaction and restaurant flow
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce them to their server when appropriate
- Maintain an accurate waitlist and communicate wait times professionally and courteously
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with poise, discretion, and professionalism
- Coordinate closely with the restaurant management and service team to ensure smooth operations throughout dinner service
- Monitor the dining room and entrance area to maintain an elegant, welcoming, and organized atmosphere
- Support restaurant operations during peak periods, including assisting with guest communications and table readiness when required
- Anticipate guest needs and create personalized experiences that exceed expectations
Your Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a guest-facing hospitality role; luxury hospitality or upscale dining experience preferred
- Experience in fine dining, steakhouse, or luxury restaurant environments is an advantage
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor
- A genuine passion for guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with restaurant and culinary teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding of luxury dining standards
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
- A warm personality, genuine smile, and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences are essential

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.026,00 per month. A higher salary may be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
