Job Description
At IMS Nanofabrication, we are entering the next stage of our growth journey. To support better business decisions and strengthen financial steering across the organization, we are building a modern FP&A function that goes beyond reporting and actively drives performance. As FP&A Manager – Operations & Sales, you will play a key role in shaping this journey. You will work closely with business leaders, develop meaningful financial insights, and help establish the structures, processes, and tools that enable data-driven decision-making across our Operations and Sales organizations.
Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the build-up and continuous development of our FP&A function with a focus on Operations and Sales

Partner closely with business leaders to understand performance drivers and provide actionable financial insights

Develop and enhance financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and long-term business planning

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports, including variance and profitability analyses

Design and conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making

Support budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure alignment between operational plans and financial targets

Drive reporting automation and data transparency using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Excel

Contribute to the development of FP&A standards, methodologies, and future-ready financial steering capabilities
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Economics, or a related field

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Controlling, or Corporate Finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment, ideally mechanical engineering

Strong expertise in Operations and/or Sales Finance FP&A in a business-driven environment

Proven experience in supporting production-related topics such as cost structures, margins, efficiency, and performance tracking in a manufacturing setup

Extensive experience in management reporting, including clear financial storytelling and preparation of presentations for senior leadership and Board-level audiences

Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis

Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights

Excellent Excel skills and advanced expertise in Power BI and Power Query

Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting business decision-making

Familiarity with ERP systems and a strong interest in improving financial processes and reporting structures

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 90.000 € (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
