THE TEAM

You will be part of the Culinary team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, working closely with the Head Pastry Chef, Sous Chefs, and the wider kitchen brigade.
This role collaborates across all outlets and events operations to ensure a consistent and elevated pastry experience throughout the hotel.

YOUR ROLE

As Chef de Partie – Pastry, you will take ownership of your pastry section, delivering exceptional desserts and baked goods across all outlets and events.
With precision, creativity, and a strong attention to detail, you will contribute to crafting memorable culinary moments that reflect our Sense of Place philosophy and luxury standards.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with brand standards
Manage your assigned section, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across all outlets and events
Support the development of innovative dessert concepts and seasonal menus
Maintain excellent knowledge of ingredients, techniques, and current pastry trends
Ensure proper mise en place and readiness for service at all times
Monitor stock levels and support ordering, storage, and inventory processes
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene (HACCP)
Work closely with the wider kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations
Support and guide junior team members in their daily tasks

You have experience as Chef de Partie – Pastry or in a similar role
You bring a strong passion for pastry, baking, and dessert craftsmanship
You demonstrate creativity combined with precision and attention to detail
You have strong organisational skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment
You are a proactive team player with a hands-on approach
You are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing team
You are flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
You possess good English skills; German and additional languages are an advantage
