Your Mission:
- Manage and support the full development lifecycle of customer-specific mechanical products—from proposal preparation, concept development, design, simulation, and analysis through (prototype) assembly, testing, and final delivery.
- Develop mechanical systems for mechanical ground support equipment (e.g., transport containers, handling tools, lifting devices) and space applications, including satellite mechanisms (e.g., deployment devices, steering mechanisms).
- Create 3D concepts and perform preliminary sizing and design in accordance with customer specifications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional specialists in design, analysis, assembly, and testing throughout all project phases.
- Maintain direct communication with customers during development projects.
- Review technical drawings and bills of materials prior to release for manufacturing.
- Coordinate and support suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
- Plan, execute, and support acceptance and qualification testing.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in English.
Your Story:
- 3+ years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
- Strong technical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and structured, goal-oriented working style.
- Experience with 3D CAD systems; knowledge of FEM/analysis tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams.
- We are looking for a hands-on person who enjoys practical work and is actively involved in day-to-day operations.
- High level of initiative, organizational skills, and customer orientation.
- Willingness to take responsibility and manage tasks independently.

We are required to state a minimum gross salary for this position in accordance with the collective agreement: this amounts to EUR 4040 ,- per month. The actual compensation is based on your qualifications and experience and will exceed the collective agreement minimum.
